Seacoast Repertory Theatre Announces Spring Gala

Seacoast Repertory Theatre has hosted the Spring Fling (formerly Swing Fling) for the past six years to raise money for its Mainstage, youth, and Senior Moments programs. This year, the event's name has been aptly changed from "Swing Fling" to "Spring Fling" to reflect the theme of growth from a grass roots level. Pun intended, as this year's Spring Fling is sponsored by over ten local businesses and is growing every week with new sponsorships. The Rep is still accepting sponsorships for tables at the event.

The Spring Fling will feature a live auction with some impressive items such as, two VIP tickets to a live taping of this season's "Dancing With the Stars", a one week stay at a villa in St. Bart's, and a dozen other high-end and unique offerings. In addition to the live auction, over 80 items have been donated by local and national vendors for a silent auction. Stop by The Rep's lobby during business hours to put an early bid on select silent auction items like a hot air balloon ride for two, a week-long stay in a private Swiss chalet, two tickets to the hit Broadway musical Memphis, and more.

Keeping with tradition, The Rep's resident artists will be on hand for performances throughout the evening, with special guest appearances by Rep alumni. Embodying the theme of personal growth through theatre, The Rep's own Portsmouth Academy of Performing Arts (PAPA) students will perform original works for attendees.

Tickets are $100 per person. Sponsored tables for ten start at $1500. The 6th Annual Spring Fling takes place at the Portsmouth Harbor Events & Conference Center at the Marriott Residence Inn on Saturday, April 21, 2012. VIP Reception is 5pm-6pm. Dinner and entertainment with live and silent auction is 6pm-10pm. RSVP is required by April 1.
