Seacoast Repertory Theatre Celebrates Its 25th Season

Seacoast Repertory Theatre celebrates its 25th Anniversary with a very special fundraising event to be held at The Rep on Saturday, February 9, 2013. The Silver Celebration will be a fun evening of live performance, memories, specialty drinks, and local food provided by Martingale Wharf.

This milestone celebration will feature the "Best of the Rep", a reprisal of show-stopping musical numbers from some of The Rep's best shows of the past 25 years. Everything from "The Sound Of Music" to "Hairspray" to "Jesus Christ Superstar", these stand-out numbers will be performed by local actors and special guests.

In addition to all the fun, there will be many ways to support The Rep at the Silver Celebration. The lobby will have Membership and Brick Campaign information, as well as a silent auction. Silver Celebration Chairperson and Board Member, Melissa Foy added, "We've received some fantastic auction items! The generosity of this community is incredible. Thank you to everyone who has donated. We have everything from Red Sox tickets, to over-night get-aways with food and entertainment, to gift certificates to some of our wonderful local shops. The event begins at 5:30 pm and, prior to the performance, Martingale Wharf will be serving delicious appetizers as guests mingle in the lobby and on the stage. Paula Place, director of development, said, "In addition to the lobby bar, we'll also have a bar onstage. We used the same configuration during our recent corporate preview and the guests loved it. There's something magical about being on that stage and we want our guests to feel it too! We're also going to offer backstage tours after the show." Martingale Wharf will round out the evening with some incredible desserts post-show.
