A Sydney season has been added to the national tour of The Woman in Black. Sydney audiences will now have the opportunity to witness the most terrifying live theatre experience in the world at Theatre Royal Sydney for a limited season from 30 July, with tickets on sale from today.

Direct from the United Kingdom, with a cast from the West End of London, comes the second longest-running play in the history of British Theatre. Stephen Mallatratt adapts Susan Hill’s 1983 novel into a bone-chilling drama capturing its essence with masterful precision.

A five-week extension has been announced for the European premiere of the stage adaptation of SPIRITED AWAY at the London Coliseum.
The play in question? The Woman in Black, adapted by Stephen Mallatratt from the book by Susan Hill, that finishes up its three-weekend run in Mt. Juliet with performances through November 5. Directed by Meriwether, whose director’s note offers the tale of his own fascination with the script and his fervent belief it could engage his company’s audiences, The Woman in Black is brought to life through the splendid performances of two promising young performers in the prime of their abilities – Lucy Turner, who will be moving to New York City this winter, and Sawyer Latham, longtime friends and consummate artists, whose trust in each other is absolutely required for the production to work as effectively and as powerfully as it does.
After selling out all four weeks of the October run of their production of The Woman in Black, Kentucky Shakespeare has added an additional fifth week of the run October 30-November 5.
The Original London Production of Susan Hill’s The Woman in Black, adapted by Stephen Mallatratt and directed by Robin Herford, begins performances October 13 at McCarter Theatre Center and runs through October 29. Learn more about the play and find out how to get tickets here!
